Golden State Warriors NBA 2015 news: Stephen Curry dehydrated following Game 5

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry showed signs of dehydration after leading his team to a 104-91 victory in Game 5 of the NBA Finals Sunday to come within just one win away from their very first championship since 1975.

The Warriors now lead the series 3-2 and can seal it at the last game that will be played inside the Quicken Loans Arena this season, Game 6.

Curry had his best performance in the Finals in Game 5 as he scored 37 points also tallying seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.

The 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player shot 13-of-23 from the field including an amazing 7-of-13 shooting from the three-point area to torch the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Following his postgame conference, the 27-year-old seemed like he was not feeling well and according to a report by ESPN was helped to the locker room by his father former NBA player and three-point champion Dell Curry and Warriors security guard Ralph Walker.

Curry received treatment and took drinking fluids when he made it to the locker room, ESPN added in the report.

The Warriors announced that Curry was dehydrated after the game but will be fine and will join the team during their flight to Cleveland Monday.

Curry's dehydration seems to be a minor issue as he is expected to play for Golden State in Game 6 Tuesday.

The 27-year-old Warriors guard was not the only player in the series who experienced dehydration.

The biggest surprise of the Finals and Cavaliers point guard Matthew Dellavedova also had dehydration following a 96-91 Game 3 win.

The Aussie was delivered to the Cleveland Clinic following the game but was discharged the next day.

Dellavedova reportedly also suffered severe cramping after playing nearly 39 minutes for the Cavaliers.

Compared to Curry, he played fewer minutes when he was dehydrated since the Warriors star played 42 minutes in Game 5.
