'Fallout 4' DLC release date: First wave of expansion to arrive early this year?

It was already confirmed that Bethesda is planning something in expanding the Wastelands in "Fallout 4." Although the title was released just recently, the developer behind the successful franchise has already lined up a number of DLC packs, with the first wave reportedly coming early this year.

According to N4BB, while Bethesda still has to release confirmed information, it was indirectly hinted at in previous statements that the first DLC could come out in the early months of 2016, with March at the earliest.

In addition, the industry follower said that while Bethesda is remaining silent on when and how the expansion content will roll out, the schedule is already laid out, with releases happening the whole year. A previous report from GameSpot already confirmed this, with game director Todd Howard saying that "Fallout 4" will have multiple expansion packs spaced out for the whole duration of 2016.

Meanwhile, as Bethesda is saying that some aspects of the DLC packs that will be released for "Fallout 4" will be based on fan feedback, some observers are wary of how the quality of these expansion packs will be, considering that they might be a jumble of content.

According to Express UK, Bethesda has a hit-and-miss record when it comes to expansion content, particularly with the "Fallout" series. The previous installment in the franchise also had a number of expansion packs released after the game came out, and some were better made and better received than others.

Hearing that fan feedback would be one of the backbones for the upcoming expansion content, industry followers such as Movie Pilot came out with their own take on how Bethesda can make better DLC. According to the observer, some minor details such as the narration, dialogues, and fixes can make a great impact for "Fallout 4" expansion content when optimized.
