Facebook concert from Jeremy Camp

Jeremy Camp is broadcasting his upcoming Nashville concert exclusively through Facebook.

The "Walk By Faith" singer has sold more than 3 million albums over the course of his amazing decade-long career in Christian music.

For one and a half hours on Wednesday, Camp will play a selection of songs and share the stories behind them.

The intimate gig is taking place at his home and can be viewed via a Facebook application.

The app also enables fans to put their questions and comments straight to Camp throughout.

The concert is being staged by new faith-based community Global Sounds, an initiative of FANetwork.

"Global Sounds is more than a one-time concert, it is a way to gather the body of believers and give Christian artists an opportunity to express themselves and engage with fans like never before," said Charlie Stuart Gay, president of FANetwork.

"Camp's heart is evident in his songs, but Global Sounds offers a chance for him to share the inspiration and meaning behind them, as well as his music's impact for the Lord around the world.

"We believe Camp is the ideal artist to be featured in the premier Global Sounds broadcast."

Available through the web as well as on mobile phones and iPads, Global Sounds will feature access to a new artist each month.

"I am really excited about being the first artist featured through FANetwork's Global Sounds," said Camp. "I love that through Facebook and social media we can now broadcast around the world and allow people who may not typically get to come to a show experience all the stories behind the songs."

The concert will air live at 9pm EDT (1am/10 May GMT) on multiple Facebook pages and the app.
