"Duck Dynasty" star Missy Robertson has started her own jewellery line called "Laminin by Missy Roberston," which is inspired by the powerful presence of God in people's lives.

Robertson told Breathe Cast that Laminin House employs the local women of West Monroe, Louisiana to craft the products that are part of the jewellery line. They make use of beads, natural stones, mixed metals, Druzy stones, rosary beads, deer horns, and leather.

Each product is unique because no two stones and beads are alike. As for the style, it is "influenced by southern femininity and a love for the outdoors."

The word "Laminin" actually refers to a fibrous molecular protein, which is the basic foundation of the body, according to Robertson.

"And this particular protein, if looked through a microscope is in the exact shape of the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ," said Robertson. "He is in all things And In Him all things hold together is a verse taken by Colossians 1:17. This meaning means more than our bodies, but our community of Laminin ladies that will be a part of this jewellery line."

Robertson hopes that their accessories business will do well so they can open branches in other states and provide more employment to jobless women. It is Robertson's goal to empower women who have become victims of sex trafficking, have not completed their education, or are facing motherhood alone.

Their company has already partnered with several local charitable organisations like Project 41 and Heartfelt Ministry. Project 41 is a non-profit Christian organisation dedicated to rescue and transform women who have been victimised by sex trafficking, while Heartfelt Ministry is promoting closer friendships, better marriages, and a spiritually stronger family.
