Goku Black's identity may have been revealed, but "Dragon Ball Super" introduced another mystery that is hoped to be solved in episode 61.

It was revealed in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60 that Goku Black is actually Zamasu in the body of a version of Goku who was supposedly killed by the doppelganger.

Goku believes that there is more to this "other" Goku than the sinister duo is letting out, and it is believed that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 will shed some light on this.

There are tons of speculations as to how Goku Black came to be. The previous installment revealed Zamasu exchanged bodies with this mysterious version of Goku through the Super Dragon Balls.

Much like how disconnected the timeline of Future Trunks and that of the heroes is, the Goku that was used to create Black is expected to be extremely different from the Goku of the present.

Some say the "other" Goku comes from the same timeline Future Trunks originates from and that he was killed after the switch happened. Whether or not this is the case, fans will have to wait for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61.

This Sunday's episode is titled "Zamasu's Ambition: The Zero Humans Plan is Divulged," which suggests it will focus on Goku Black and Zamasu fulfilling their plans to get rid of all mortals.

However, Goku and company will not make this easy for them. As seen in the promo "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61, the heroes are determined to stop the duo.

Unfortunately, they are still having a tough time tackling Goku Black and Zamasu. It just gets more difficult as the two "join forces."

The leaked synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 spells even greater doom for the heroes: "Black Goku sees Goku and the others as the greatest obstacle in completing "The Zero Humans Plan. He turns into Super Saiyan Rose to eliminate them once and for all."

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 is scheduled to air on Sunday, Oct. 9, on Fuji TV.
