A sequel to the Bungie's online-only first-person shooter video game "Destiny" was confirmed earlier this year, with the game developer announcing that it is scheduled to be released in 2017. While fans of the first game already have the assurance that it will officially become a video game series with the sequel in the works, the one question bugging them is if there will be a PC version this time.

To recall, the 2014 video game was released across several platforms, including PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, but without a Windows PC version. It probably was the only notable downside to what has been a commercially successful title.

But this time, there is a new rumor that a PC version of "Destiny 2" will finally be made available. Gamerant first reported about it, citing a tweet from Jason Schreier of Kotaku, which can be seen below:

Schreier is one of the very few leaksters out there who has proven time and time again how accurate their information can be, and he has made it a point to be particularly attentive when it comes to the "Destiny" video game series. As a matter of fact, he is the very first person to open up about "Destiny 2" coming to PC.

Anyway, his claim isn't founded on false information, as the official website of Bungie seemed to have recently offered clues as well. A job listing found on the site for a World Design Tester had a description that said, "Experience testing multiple platforms (Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, PC)," effectively fueling excitement from fans that "Destiny 2," the company's only relevant upcoming video game, might very well be coming to PC for the very first time. It is interesting to learn though that Schreier himself said that the job listing has nothing to do with the upcoming game.
