David Crowder reveals his favourite Bible verse

David Crowder shares his favourite Bible verse.

Grammy-award nominated Christian singer David Crowder's favourite Bible verse is simply perfect for his career.

In a video interview with SiriusXM, Crowder said that people often ask him to include his favourite Bible verse while signing autographs. "There's lots of funny verses you could put. I've done that before, and it gets old. So I want to say something meaningful," he said.

Crowder then revealed that his go-to verse is Psalm 98:4, which says: "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, sing praise and rejoice."

"This is appropriate, you probably already know why I love it," he said. "That's what I need in my life. I need the volume loud, louder with Crowder kind of thing."

When he is up on stage singing his praises to God, Crowder said he uses the Bible verse as his motto.

Crowder is currently travelling around the United States for The Rock & Worship Roadshow Tour, together with fellow Christian artists MercyMe, Matt Maher, Jamie Grace, Tedashii and Group 1 Crew.

He will kick off the second leg of his Neon Steeple Tour on April 8 with guests Tim Timmons and Dan Bremnes. The artist and his guests will be travelling to 13 cities across the States.

The second song from the Neon Steeple album "Come As You Are" has been such a success that it earned Crowder his first Grammy nomination for the Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category. He also gained further nominations for the 3rd Annual K-LOVE Fan Awards, which will be held on May 31 in Nashville.

"Come As You Are" was nominated for Best Worship Song while Crowder earned a Best Male Artist nomination.

"Thanks K-LOVE Radio for the 2015 K-LOVE Fan Award Nominations! Honored to be nominated next to such talented people!" the singer said on his Facebook page.
