The search for the Dirty Dozen is on in the next episode of "Criminal Minds" season 9.

In the previous episode, BAU members dealt with the case involving the infamous hitmen syndicate called the Dirty Dozen while hunting the UnSub who brutalizes his victims by kidnapping them and inflicting sleep deprivation.

The BAU agents have been dealing with the hitmen ring since episode 7. In "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 9, they will still work on the case while coordinating with the NSA to learn of an underground online drug ring involved in the killing of two undercover DEA agents while looking for the third one.

While working in close coordination with the NSA, Hotch (Thomas Gibson) is hoping that working with the national organization can help them stumble upon the dangerous syndicate.

The episode synopsis for "Internal Affairs" reveals that after two undercover DEA agents are murdered and a third goes missing, the BAU joins the NSA to investigate whether an underground Internet drug syndicate is involved. Also, Hotch hopes the team's work with the NSA brings them closer to finding the "Dirty Dozen" hitmen ring.

Meanwhile, Rossi (Joe Mantegna) might find himself falling in love again with Hayden, the mother of his daughter Joy (Amber Stevens).

"We're talking about, since Joy is in the picture, her mom being in the picture again as well," showrunner Erica Messer said in an interview with TV Guide. "We haven't ironed all of that out yet ... but that's been a point of discussion that we've had. That might be a nice thing for Rossi to find later in life, to actually find that happiness that he was looking for so much when he was younger."

The next episode of "Criminal Minds" season 11 will air on Wednesday, Dec. 2, on CBS.
