The turn-based strategy game, "Sid Meier's Civilization VI" has been making waves in the gaming industry as of late despite being released less than a month ago. This seems to signify that the game's future is bright and is likely to reach critical acclaim in no time.

Though the sixth main installment in the "Civilization" series will be familiar to longtime players, Firaxis Games' latest offering could be deemed complex and complicated by those who are new to the franchise. However, with continuous play and familiarity with its controls, gamers will begin to feel at ease with the title. Nevertheless, for those who are new to the title, here are some tips that will come in handy while playing "Civilization VI."

Starting things off, players might want to experience the game on a beginner's level. Just like any other game, "Civilization VI's" level of play will be milder as compared to the higher levels that might leave new players frustrated that will lead to a bad impression of the game.

Players might also want to check the game's setting and leave the Barbarian toggle unattended since it a known fact to "Civilization" players the annoyance that this race brings when they try to build their own empire.

The civilization that players are trying to put up won't be possible without builders. This element of the game will be one of the most important and players will have to plan their structures carefully since the game will start off with just three of them. Another thing to consider is the locality of the civilization. It's a known fact that the successful empires in history were all situated near lakes, rivers, and other sources of water. With that said, it is very wise for such players to do the same in order for their city to blossom.

Aside from the abovementioned tips and tricks, players are also advised to utilize the game's new user interface that is said to be loaded with a substantial amount of tools that will come in handy during gameplay.
