A recent tweet from Capcom's official account gave long-time fans something to cheer about.
The gaming company replied to a question by Twitter user Jawmuncher if they would ever consider bringing back "Dino Crisis," one of Capcom's gone but not forgotten survival horror series.
"Dino Crisis" is a survival horror game with elements similar to "Resident Evil" but with dinosaurs instead of zombies. In the game, players must go through various levels and occasionally try to solve puzzles and obstacles along the way, all while trying to fight or escape dangers of different shapes and sizes.
The original game was released in 1999 with the last title, "Dino Crisis 3" being released in 2003. No other titles were released after the third installment, although a six-part comic series was launched in Hongkong.
The company said, however, that they would consider rebooting the franchise "if a lot of people wish."

Capcom is actually no stranger to making reboots of their most popular titles. The "Megaman" remake is currently set for a 2018 release. "Resident Evil," probably the company's most successful franchise, did a remake of the first game for the Wii, and "Resident Evil 2" is set to follow with a reboot of its own.
While the tweet does not really confirm anything, this could still be something to look forward to as the consoles of this generation are now much capable of delivering high quality graphics and smoother gameplay.
Those who played the first "Resident Evil" and its remake can definitely appreciate how much the appearance of the zombies have changed from the wiry, polygonal models of the PlayStation to the smoother, more realistic build of the Wii. Not only did it make the game more beautiful, but it also gave the players an increased sense of dread compared to when they played the first game.
If the game does get rebooted, players will definitely enjoy being immersed in a beautifully rendered 3D environment with bigger, more dangerous looking dinosaurs. "Dino Crisis" was already a masterpiece during its original version, so a reboot would definitely be something to be excited about.
