The upcoming "Ascendance" DLC" for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is hitting Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles by March 31, and will be avaible for other platforms a month later. To satiate the wait, Activision has released a new trailer showcasing all of the new content.

The new downloadable content comes with a total of four multiplayer maps, a new weapon, and the next episode of the "Exo Zombies" game mode featuring the voice talents of John Malkovich, John Bernthal, Rose McGowan, and Bill Paxton.

Each of the new maps comes with its own stage hazards and themes. "Climate," for example, has puddles of toxic water that instantly kill players caught off-guard. "Perplex" is a map that features a futuristic apartment complex but the modules constantly move about, changing the landscape at all times.

The other maps are known as "Site 244" and the "Chop Shop." The former is designed as an alien crash site near Mt. Rushmore and features a super serum that players can take to add perks and exoskeleton abilities. The latter is set in an exoskeleton factory where an EMP device is placed to disable abilities.

"Ascendance" also brings a new weapon, the "OHM" which can switch between a light machine gun and shotgun. It is one of the most powerful weapons in multiplayer, with the LMG mode capable of killing opponents with just three clean shots. It is also capable of penetrating walls.

The next episode of the "Exo Zombies" mode now places the four survivors on the outskirts of the Atlas facility with new types of zombies and environments to deal with.

"Ascendance" is the second DLC released for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," following the previously launched "Havoc." It will be available for no extra charge to players that paid the $50 "Advance Warfare" season pass. Other players can download it separately for only $14.99.
