Blake Shelton says Gwen Stefani marriage talks are 'awfully early'

Months after Gwen Stefani and Black Shelton made their relationship public, the couple are hounded by endless rumors about pregnancy and marriage.

The musical couple confirmed their dating status on Nov. 4. They have already spent time with their respective families and met each other's parents during the holidays, fueling rumors that the two are ready to tie the knot in the near future.

But the 39-year-old country crooner told Entertainment Tonight that the wedding and pregnancy rumors started way too soon.

"I think it's awfully early to be talking about that, don't you?" Shelton stated.

The "Neon Light" singer shared that he and 46-year-old pop superstar and fashion icon are happy with each other but they are not yet planning to get married.

A source also told Hollywood Life that while Stefani already introduced her new man to her three sons with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, the No Doubt vocalist is not yet keen on getting hitched at the moment.

"Gwen does not feel the need to go down a traditional path, she did the marriage thing and it didn't work out, so she is not in a rush to go down that path again," the source revealed. "But she is very serious about Blake, things are moving fast and she's fine with it, they're in love."

Both Shelton and Stefani split from their former spouses in 2015. The country songster and his ex-wife Miranda Lambert announced their divorce in July, while "The Sweet Escape" singer and Rossdale separated in August.

The couple have also thwarted numerous pregnancy rumors in the past, but Shelton was often seen spending time with Stefani's kids on several occasions.

"Blake loves kids and has been having a lot of fun when he spends time with Gwen's kids," a source exclusively told People.
