Before season 3 of "Beauty and the Beast" started to air, the show was already renewed for season 4. There are more information about the current season than the next, but there is one interesting spoiler for the upcoming season that recently emerged.

According to TV Line, police medical examiner Evan Marks, played by Max Brown, is returning to least one episode in season 4. As loyal followers of the show would already know, Cat and Evan shared a fleeting romance back in the supernatural series' first run.

Curiously, it was in this season that Evan also died, making his comeback quite surprising. However, his return doesn't necessarily mean that he will be brought back from the dead — although one cannot dismiss the possibility of the character pulling off a JT, meaning he might be resurrected with the antidote JT used for his rebirth.

It is also suggested that Brown will simply morph into his character once more for a flashback scene. Should this be the reason the actor will be back on set, it remains to be seen how this will particularly play out in the story.

For now, fans of the Evan and Cat pairing can take comfort in the fact that the character will return in whatever way, shape or form that may be.

Meanwhile, "Beauty and the Beast" season 3 continues with episode 7 titled "Other Lives," which will see Cat and Vincent "elope." The synopsis for the episode reads:

When an unstoppable assassin hunts down Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan), they attempt to lure him out of town and away from their loved ones with the ruse that they plan to elope. Meanwhile, tired of being under police protection, JT (Austin Basis) asks Tess (Nina Lisandrello) to help him track down a lead while a distracted Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson) attempts to focus at her new job."
