The CW's "Beauty and the Beast" wrapped production for the last time after the final scenes for season 4 were shot early this week.

The cast and crew of the sci-fi police procedural drama thriller started to share their last moments on the set during the previous weekend, showing their own emotional farewell to their characters and workmates who have been with them since 2012.

Actor Austin Basis, who portrays the role of J.T. Forbes in the series, shared several touching posts on Twitter. One of them is a trailer showing the name of Nicole Gale Anderson's character Heather on the door, saying that Anderson officially filmed her very last episode on Nov. 13.

Basis also posted several photos in his social media account. One shows him posing beside J.T.'s car dubbed as Baby Blue, and the other one was taken inside the bar. He admitted that he was having a bittersweet time letting go of his character and claimed that he will miss playing J.T.

Nina Lisandrello, who plays the role of J.T.'s love interest Tess Vargas in the series, also had an emotional post on Twitter, saying that she already shot her last scene for the series.

Meanwhile, lead actor Jay Ryan also updated the fans about his final activities in the series. The actor said that he arrived on the "Beauty and the Beast" set in Montreal for the last time on Sunday, and wrapped his role as Vincent Keller on Monday.

Vincent and Kristin Kreuk's character Catherine Chandler are the central characters of the fan-favorite TV drama.

The CW announced in October that "Beauty and the Beast" will wrap up after four seasons, and its fourth and final installment will air its last 13 episodes sometime next year.

Fans are expecting to hear the premiere date for "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 in the coming days.
