'Batman: Arkham Knight' DLC news: Bonus item part of Season of Infamy

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive has just rolled out the latest expansion content for players of its latest Dark Knight chapter, "Batman: Arkham Knight." However, fans are already looking forward to the upcoming new Season of Infamy DLC, which Warner Bros. already confirmed in a previous announcement.

Meanwhile, although the publisher already laid out the upcoming items that will be included in the next DLC rollout, speculations say that there will be an additional bonus item, too.

According to Yibada, aside from the additional original Batmobile from the 2009 entry "Batman: Arkham Asylum," the Season of Infamy DLC will also reportedly add a new Batmobile skin with a Rocksteady Studios theme. Rocksteady is the developer of the games in the "Batman: Arkham" series of titles, including "Batman: Arkham Knight."

Aside from the two new skins for the Batmobile, the upcoming DLC pack will also include the 2008 Batman skin. Fans of the franchise would be familiar with the costume as this was the signature Christopher Nolan look for Christian Bale's Batman.

Aside from the in-game items, Season of Infamy will also continue adding a Crime Fighter Challenge Pack, listed as the fifth one. The next Challenge Pack will include at least six AR challenges, the content of each still remaining a mystery. Warner Bros. has not announced any updates on what the fifth Crime Fighter Challenge Pack will bring.

The DLC will also expand the current storyline for "Batman: Arkham Knight." The Season of Infamy: Most Wanted expansion pack will add four additional mission storylines for players, and the villain for each mission level is a signature enemy for the Dark Knight. The expansion will add Killer Croc, Mister Freeze, Mad Hatter, and Ra's al Ghul to the already-formidable rogues' gallery in the current title.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One. Warner Bros. also revived the PC version after pulling the title out for months after a glitch-ridden debut.
