Barcelona completed their second treble in six years after beating Juventus in the Champions League Final earlier this month but midfielder Pedro Rodriguez looks to be parting ways with the club despite a successful season.
Rodriguez had a hard time finding significant playing time last season due to the addition of Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez who completed Barca's deadly attacking trio which included Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The 27-year-old only started in 15 La Liga games and had six goals also tallying seven assists.
Spanish newspaper AS reported that Rodriguez has voiced out a number of times his dismay regarding the playing minutes he had last season and his intentions of leaving with clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United putting offers on the table for his services.
Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo reported that Inter Milan, Liverpool, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Spanish midfielder.
The International Business Times reported that Barcelona also had intentions of parting ways with Rodriguez for a "cut-price deal" with his original pact with the club expiring in the summer of 2016.
But earlier this month, Rodriguez just signed a long-term deal with Barca that will keep him at Camp Nuo until the end of the 2018-19 season.
The new deal also has a €150 million release clause according to the International Business Times.
Despite inking the new deal, Mundo Deportivo reported that he still plans on leaving the club.
In other Barcelona news, president Josep Maria Bartomeu who is running against former chief Joan Laporta for his position this July is confident that they will have another signing this summer besides Sevilla midfielder Aleix Vidal.
"We have a very reliable team for next season but besides Aleix Vidal another player will join. The club is not paralysed by the election process and is making sporting plans for coach Luis Enrique. The coach knows what we need and we will carry out those duties," Bartomeu told Marca.
He added, "I do not know how many signatures we will get but we see very pleased to partners down the street who are eager for us to continue at the club."
