"Attack on Titan" season 2 will not be released until next year, but fans will have plenty of things to get busy with while they wait for the anime's return.

First, the "Attack on Titan: Colossal Edition" Volume 3 will be released tomorrow, Sept, 27. It is the third part of the manga in its popular giant paperback form.

Another is the release of the comic book collaboration "Attack of Titan Anthology," which is will be published by Kodansha Comics and will be out on Oct. 18 in the United States. It features stories set in the "Attack on Titan" universe, as well as stories which take place in parody worlds. The tales range from horror to comedy, and they are created by a crop of excellent writers and artists, including Scott Snyder, Paolo Rivera, Gail Simone, Micael Avon Oeming, and Babs Tarr to name a few.

Priced at $29.99, the "Attack of Titan Anthology" will be in the hardcover format and will feature 256 full-color pages. A preview of the book was recently released by Kodansha on their official Youtube channel.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 may not be able to catch up to the manga by Hajime Isayama just yet since only two arcs from the manga are rumored to be followed.

The first season has covered 36 chapters which comprise the first four story arcs of the manga — "Fall of Shiganshina," "104th Training Corps," "Battle of Trost District," and "The Female Titan."

The next two chapters in the printed material are "Clash of the Titans" and "Uprising," which are featured in another 36 chapters. This presents the possibility that, if Wit Studio keeps up the same pace, "Attack on Titan" season 2 will only feature these arcs, which will already make for an exciting run.

"Clash of the Titans" follows the intrusion of mysterious Titans to Wall Rose. "Uprising" tells the story of the murder of Pastor Nick and the kidnapping of Eren and Historia.
