While it is already expected that the continuing saga of humanity versus colossal beings called Titans in the second season of "Attack on Titan" will premiere this year, details are still sketchy. However, this did not deter fans from checking out supposed teasers and leaks online about the upcoming series.

"Leaked" footage showing a preview of the second season is circulating online. According to Korea Portal, it is unclear if the video is an official one, supposed to be shown before the airing of the premiere episode of the new season or, much like other "supposed" leaks, is a product of an active imagination of a hardcore fan.

Nonetheless, the video shows a city inside the walls that protect the human from the Titans. However, a squad of the Scout Legion discovered that one section of the walls contain a Titan inside of it. Eager to check it out, the squad was cautioned by a church leader, warning them not to let the sun shine on the sleeping Titan.

Not wanting to divulge details, the video continues with a church leader asking to be killed rather than to tell what he knew about the Titans inside the walls. The squad leader then leaves a hanging question, if all the walls contain a significant number of Titans.

Meanwhile, the video closes on a footage of main protagonist Eren Yeager apparently waking up and recovering from injuries.

Meanwhile, although the second season is already expected to air this year, no specific date has been mentioned as yet. According to Crossmap, though, with the franchise being so successful both in Japan and Western shores, fans may expect the premiere to occur early this year, February at the earliest.
