'Assassin's Creed Unity' bugs and issues: Ubisoft promises to fix everything, but shares plunge

 Ubisoft

"Assassin's Creed: Unity" has been one of the most anticipated games in the previous months, but when it was released Tuesday in North America, the excitement turned into frustration. There were so many bugs and problems that came along with the game that many players got pretty annoyed with it.

North American gamers quickly went online to air their concerns and with the growing number of complaints, Ubisoft won't be able to ignore them — and they haven't. In fact, Ubisoft has already released a statement on their official blog site and they are promising to fix the issues.

There are so many problems that gamers have made a mockery out of them. There have been screenshots uploaded wherein the faces of people look like hairy wolves. There are crazy animations, missing faces, floating bodies and plenty more bugs that make the game look like a big joke.

But of course, everyone knows that Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed: Unity" is the real deal. This might just be a bump on the road for the game but when it's all over, it will be smooth sailing from here on out.

According to Gamespot, some of the more known problems include main character Arno falling directly on the ground, game crashing when joining a co-op sessions, Arno getting stuck in hay carts, and a long delay at the main menu screen. Additional problems include frame rate issues, matchmaking co-op issues, Helix credits issues, and graphical and collision issues.

While gamers can wait for Ubisoft to fix the bugs, investors can't. It is reported that shares had gone down 8.3 percent since the launch of the game. It seems like the investors have lost faith on Ubisoft to "deliver complete games on launch day," says Gamespot.

Right now, Ubisoft is hard at work on fixing the problems and will be releasing an update soon. They are also fixing problems with the PC version due to certain AMC CPU and GPU configurations.
