'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' DLC: Jack the Ripper gets interactive trailer

Ubisoft is making good on its promise during the 2015 Tokyo Game Show by releasing the "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" Jack the Ripper DLC right on schedule. But before the players can start downloading the expansion pack on Dec. 22, the game developer unveiled a new interactive trailer.

The new Jack the Ripper DLC centers on the events that happened 20 years after the adventures of Jacob and Evie Frye on the dark streets of London.

The plot of the Jack the Ripper DLC that was unveiled during the 2015 TGS. In this downloadable content, Evie learned from police inspector Frederick Abberline that her twin brother Jacob went missing after the infamous serial killer attacked him in his lodging.

Evie has no clue what really happened to Jacob, but she will hunt down Jack the Ripper to avenge her twin brother.

The interactive virtual reality trailer, which is best enjoyed using the Google Cardboard or the Gear VR, revealed that Jack the Ripper is having a hard time assaulting innocent lives since Evie returned to London. But by the looks of it, it seems like Jack the Ripper is also determined to hurt Evie whenever he gets the chance.

A sneak peek of the upcoming DLC also shows that Evie's skills as an assassin and as a woman will be tested by Jack the Ripper. The notorious serial killer, known for the brutal killings and mutilation of prostitutes, will treat Evie like his other victims. Evie's aim to revenge for his brother will be doubled with her desire to bring justice to all the women who went through intense suffering at the hands of Jack the Ripper.

The soon-to-be-released Jack the Ripper DLC for "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" can be downloaded on its own starting Dec. 22 on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One for $15. Players can also avail the game by purchasing the Season Pass for $29.99.
