The course is designed for experienced counsellors or trained counsellors who are looking to extend their knowledge. Developed in collaboration with counselling experts, this course meets the ongoing training requirements necessary to sustain professional accreditation with the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC). The course is also an outstanding resource for those who have been trained within a secular environment. The CWR biblical model will be the basis for the teaching and the course will include both theory and practical exercises.

Anger is often very distressing and can cause ill health, stress, misery and broken relationships. This training day will help you to understand the causes, triggers and behavioural responses of anger and you will learn effective techniques to help people manage anger more appropriately.

- A biblical understanding of appropriate and inappropriate anger
- How anger affects our bodies, our health and our mind
- How to trace and identify the triggers for anger
- The connection between anger and depression
- Skills and strategies to effectively control anger
- How to cope effectively with other people’s anger
