Xiaomi is on its way to becoming a prominent tech firm. To go further down this road, the Chinese manufacturer is expanding its product portfolio and is constantly making efforts to extend its reach.

Just recently, Xiaomi put up the 16 GB and the 64 GB models of the Mi 4 in Flipkart in India without the need for buyers to register. It is set to arrive in Delhi first before it invades other cities. The device will also be made available to 300 The Mobile Store outlets peppered throughout the country. With Xiaomi committed to selling 100 million units of its smartphones, this certainly won't be the last.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 comes with a 5-inch Full HD display that generates 1080 x 1920 pixels and a 441 ppi pixel density. It utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz for power and performance. This is bolstered by its hefty 3 GB RAM.

The handset's primary camera is at 13 megapixels, which allows high-definition video recording and is made better with the LED flash. Its 8-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter that shoots 1080p at 30 frames per second is also a treat.

Packing a 3080 mAh battery, the Xiaomi Mi 4 can juice up fast, thanks to Quick Charge 2.0 that fully charges the battery in less than an hour. Users in India can score a unit for themselves for RS 19,999 or $384.

Xiaomi is also putting the Redmi Note 4G on offer via the same outlets. Retailing at RS 9,999, the 5.5-inch smartphone is an affordable and reliable mobile companion for those seeking processing power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset along with an 8 GB expandable storage.

The device also features a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel camera combo and a 3100 mAh battery that can stay awake for 38 hours of talk time. The aforementioned devices have been for the taking since March 28.

Xiaomi will also put up another Flipkart sale for the Redmi 2 on March 31, but this one needs registration.
