Barry Allen will have to face his newest foe in an upcoming episode of "The Flash." According to spoilers, Barry (Grant Gustin) will be facing the Pied Piper, the alter ego of Dr. Harrison Wells' (Tom Cavanaugh) former protégé Harley Rathaway.

The Pied Piper first showed his wrath when he successfully managed to escape the Flash when he caught him destroying his family's business with sonic blasts. But when caught, Rathaway used this as an opportunity to embezzle information from the computers of S.T.A.R. Labs to know the proper frequency that can destroy Barry's molecules to kill him. However, the Pied Piper's plans were thwarted when he was imprisoned back in the lab's particle accelerator.

When Rathaway used the information that he knows about Caitlin Snow's (Danielle Panabaker) fiancé Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) let the Pied Piper go.

In the next episode titled "Crazy for You," the effects of Cisco's mistake will be tackled, as well as Caitlin's reaction to what the new enemy had revealed.

Meanwhile, Barry's dating game will be revived in the same episode of "The Flash" season 1.

Based on the official synopsis of the episode, Barry meets Central City Picture News sports reporter Linda Park (Malese Jow) when he and Caitlin spend a night out on a local karaoke bar. After he asks the reporter out on a date, he shares the good news to Iris (Candice Patton), but he is startled with how she takes Barry's news. Could this mean that Iris is affected by Barry's intention to date someone else?

On the other hand, Dr. Wells' plans will be revealed before season one ends, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said during an interview with TVLine.

"Wells has a definitive plan. When you look back, you'll see he's had a definitive reason for doing all the things that he's done throughout the course of the season. We think it makes sense. Hopefully, you all will, too," the executive producer said.

"The Flash" episode 12 airs on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
