Method acting has a lot of benefits and it has a unique way of bringing out the best that many actors and actresses can give. In a recent video, "Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon takes the show to another level when he encouraged Justin Roiland to be as drunk as Rick is in the show for the third season's episode 4.

Tagged as the least productive day in the "Rick and Morty" set, the video posted by Adult Swim featured the results of a dare between Harmon and Rick's voice actor, Roiland. Harmon had encouraged the latter to get as drunk as Rick and to get there, he snapped back shot after shot of tequila and a rogue bottle of beer.

The video was taken during the production of "Rick and Morty" season 3 episode 4 and although it had been hilarious to watch the staff struggle through the lines, it made fans wonder about what could possibly be in episode 4 that required even the voice actor to be drunk?

"Rick and Morty" season 2 capped off with Rick turning himself in after hearing Summer (Spencer Grammer), Beth (Sarah Chalke) and Morty (Roiland) defending Rick from Jerry's (Chris Parnell) plea to have him turned in because of his selfishness. After the rest of the family expressed that they wanted to stay with Rick out of love, he convinced Morty that he was going to go out for a bit. From then, he turned himself in to the Federation to save his family from a life of constantly being on the run.

Knowing that Beth once felt like Rick abandoned her, this seemingly selfish act caused her sadness and pain. The third season of "Rick and Morty" will pick up where the previous season left off. And if Roiland's aggressive shot-taking is any sign, it looks like episode 4 will be particularly brutal on the hearts of "Rick and Morty" fans.
