Fans witnessed the season 2 finale of "Gotham" last Monday, where the last few scenes also hinted at who might be the possible villains in the next season. Before the curtains dropped down on the series, several villains were walking down the streets of the city -- a woman with a big hair, an alien-like man, a Bruce Wayne look-alike, and someone who looks like Bane from "The Dark Knight Rises."

Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) was able to drive off from Indian Hill with a bus load of Hugo Strange's (BD Wong) creations in the final few minutes of the finale. Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and his right-hand man Butch (Drew Powell) thought it was Dr. Strange who was driving the bus, so they took it down with a hail of bullets. However, the duo was shocked to see Fish alive and was able to get out of the situation.

The familiar evil laugh of Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) was also heard when a woman opened the door at the back of the bus, which also cause several Indian Hill residents to escape toward the city. "Gotham" followers knew that Jerome, a.k.a The Joker, died in the early parts of season 2. However, his body was seen in one of the tanks, among the collection of Dr. Strange, so it is not a surprise if he gets back into action in the future.

Comic Book Resources interviewed John Stephens, the show's executive producer, who revealed that Mad Hatter and several more will be in "Gotham."

He said, "We'll be seeing Mad Hatter in season 3. We'll be seeing the Tweedle Brothers, too, if we're going to bring the Hatter in. In line with the Court of Owls, we'll be seeing Talon. And, we should be seeing Solomon Grundy."

For now, fans will have to wait for a few months before "Gotham" hits the television screens again. Fox has scheduled the show to be back in fall.
