'Fallout 4' DLC release date news: Gameplay rumors and launch schedule revealed

 Fallout 4 Official site

Back in November last year, "Fallout 4" game director Todd Howard, teased fans that the game will receive more updates in 2016. The New Year has just started, but there are already several rumors about what "Fallout 4" DLC updates will bring to the table.

One rumor that's been circulating is that the game will feature underwater adventures. As pointed out by Kotaku early in December 2015, the "Fallout 4" map has a large percentage of water and it's easy for fans to speculate that the game could be hiding something interesting.

With pieces of evidence suggesting a mysterious underwater world in the game, one avid gamer, Javon Smith, even went as far as spending over 30 hours of playing to discover what secrets the location holds. However, the underwater exploration yielded nothing surprising, but that doesn't mean that the speculations ended.

AutooMobile mentioned that underwater vaults are likely to be part of a DLC that's to come because of the attention given to the underwater world.

One fan even commented on Kotaku's report that Bethesda may have ran out of time dwelling on the underwater world that more about the location may be featured in the coming DLC.

While the underwater world is a favorite subject when it comes to speculating what's to come in "Fallout 4's" DLC update, there are also other outlets that mentioned some of the content that they want the game to have.

For instance, Inverse mentioned that the game should dig deeper into Conrad Kellogg's past. The news outlet stated that a DLC should feature the story of the mercenary and his early rise to fame before his death. A lunar exploration is also in the list of possible DLCs, AutooMobile stated.

The aforementioned content are purely based on speculations, but fans also hope that some of them will really get featured. But what's certain at this point is that a future DLC will surely feature fixes that should improve the overall game experience further.

In the meantime, fans will just have to wait for more announcements regarding the DLC and its release date.
