Brothers Jonathan and Christopher Nolan are the people behind "Man of Steel" and "The Dark Knight" trilogy, all of which are DC Comic movies that became very successful in the box office. So, why are they no longer working with the DC Cinematic Universe then?

Christopher was the man who penned "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises," and both movies were considered to be among the best Batman movies ever. Batman fans all over the world love Christopher and Jonathan's work, but it seems like DC Cinematic Universe can't do anything about the brothers' decision.

During a press junket for their new movie "Interstellar," which received very positive reviews by the way, Jonathan was asked about their future with DC Comics and if there will be any other involvement in new DC Comic films.

"I love those guys and my brother was involved in Man of Steel with Zack [Snyder] and David [Goyer]. I kind of feel like that chapter for us is closed. To be continued somewhere farther down the line? Maybe," Jonathan briefly answered.

Jonathan may have been too political with his answer here, as it is clear that they will not be involved in any DC Comic movie for the next 10 years or so. Fans probably won't be able to imagine the DC Cinematic Universe without the Nolans, let alone the die-hard comic fans who deem the brothers as their hope for translating the comics into a film in the best way possible.

Well, directors working years and years for a trilogy would eventually want to move on, too. Even Michael Bay has decided to exit the "Transformers" franchise to focus on his documentaries. Anyhow, fans are sure that the Nolan brothers will be around to make awesome movies for years to come, just not related to DC Comics superheroes.
