Country singer Carrie Underwood is on the mend following a hard fall.

A representative of the "Blown Away" singer told media outlets that Underwood suffered multiple injuries after she fell on the steps outside her house on Friday. She was reportedly brought to the hospital due to a broken wrist, as well as several cuts and abrasions.

The representative added that the "American Idol" alum's husband, retired ice hockey player Mike Fisher, immediately went home to Nashville upon receiving the news.

"Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes," said Underwood's representative.

The 34-year-old artist also updated her fans via Twitter. In the post, she thanked them for their well wishes and noted, "I'll be alright... might just take some time." She also added that she's glad to have the "best hubby in the world" to take care of her.

Because of her fall, the "Jesus, Take the Wheel" singer was not able to make it to the Country Rising benefit show, which took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Sunday.

The concert was a fund-raising project that gathered country music's hottest artists for the benefit of victims of the recent mass shooting in Las Vegas, as well as the couple of hurricanes that hit parts of the United States in recent months, causing damages to thousands of people.

It was attended by an all-star cast, which included George Strait, Jason Aldean, Sam Hunt, Dierks Bentley, Chris Stapleton, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire and Keith Urban.

Underwood's damaging fall happened just a few days after she co-hosted the 51st annual Country Music Awards with "Whiskey Lullaby" singer Brad Paisley. The duo also dedicated that night to the victims of hurricanes and mass shootings, including the most recent one at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
