Big Daddy Weave singer welcomes new addition to family

|PIC1|This holiday season Big Daddy Weave’s Mike Weaver says that his favourite carol is “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” because of “the lack of sleep around here lately”.

But Mike and wife, Kandice, certainly aren’t complaining.

To kick off Christmastime, the Weavers welcomed its newest member, Ezekiel (Zeke) Turner Weaver, to the family, a spokesman for the family announced on Friday.

Born November 10 and weighing 8 lbs, 6 oz, Zeke will celebrate his first Christmas with mum, dad and brother Eli in Nashville.

The hugely successful Christian rock band Big Daddy Weave has just released a new EP featuring some their best loved hits in acoustic, including Let it Rise and Every Time I Breathe. The Acoustic EP is available from iTunes and Amazon.

For the Christmas season, Amazon.com is offering a free download of the band's "Christ is Come" single.

Big Daddy Weave was busy this past year on tour across the States with Rush of Fools and Jason Gray as part of the "What life would be like tour", in support of World Vision and God’s Pit Crew.

Christmas will give the band members a short respite before they hit the road again on January 30, 2009.
