'Big Bang Theory' season 8 spoilers: Penny attempts to land another acting gig in episode 21 'Communication Deterioration'

More laughs are expected to roll in the coming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 8.

The hilarious return of the hit comedy sitcom during the episode titled "The Fornication Implementation" proved that the show still have its comical appeal.

Thursday's episode introduced Josh (Matt Bennett), the brother that Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) never thought he had. The two almost did not hit it off at first, but when the two get to know each other better, Howard realized that Josh really is his brother. They particularly bonded after Josh expressed his amazement at Howard's robotic arm that he invented for pleasure purposes.

Penny (Kailey Cuoco-Sweeting) and Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) also had a huge fight on air when the couple appeared at Wil Wheaton's podcast, while Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) contemplate on how their relationship will progress after the two built a blanket fort during the episode.

But in the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 titled "Communication Deterioration," the gang will have to deal with Raj Koothrappali's (Kunal Nayyar) attempt to send out a message to the aliens with the help of his friends, as well as Penny's return to her acting career by auditioning for a film titled "Clerk 3."

CBS released the official synopsis for the episode, and it reads:

"When Raj is asked to create a message in case a NASA mission discovers alien life, the guys fight over what he should do. Also, Penny is torn between auditioning for a movie or keeping her successful pharmaceutical sales job."

Could this mean that Penny will be returning to her first love and forget her current high paying job as a sales rep for the pharmaceutical company? Penny have had a lot of struggles when it comes to her acting career in the past, but it seems as if she is ready to drop everything to pursue her passion.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 8 episode 21 airs on Thursday, April 16.
