Rumors are getting rife that Apple's cordless accessory dubbed as the AirPods might be seeing the light of day right before the year ends.

According to recent reports, Fnac, a French retail company, blurted out that the anticipated wireless headphones from Apple will finally be shipped at the end of this month which will be just in time for the upcoming holiday shopping season. In addition, it was also noted that the store chain has begun accepting orders for the said accessory.

Having said that, a Czech online store, Alza, also posted a listing for the said peripheral and claimed that it will be gracing their stores in the beginning of December. However, the said fearless forecast by the store was later on scrapped, though it was noted that the retailer is still taking pre-orders.

It was said that after Apple's failure to deliver the AirPods last month, the company issued a statement saying that the wireless audio component will be sent out at a later date. Furthermore, it was also pointed out that they'll be releasing the earpiece as soon as they think that they have polished its technology to perfection.

Meanwhile, as per Apple's website, the AirPods will be offered at $159 alongside a charging case and a lightning to USB cable. The website also posted optional wireless earphones from its subsidiary, Beats. However, prices for such earphones will be a whole lot steeper as compared to the upcoming AirPods.

It is said that the AirPods will be highly responsive and that once it is worn by the user, it will instantly sync to whatever Apple device the user is holding. The accessory will also be turned off once it is taken off the user's ear.
