Amara (Emily Swallow) will be getting her wish to meet her dear brother when the hit The CW series "Supernatural" returns with all-new episodes in January.

During the fall finale, the Darkness tried everything to earn an audience with God, but to no avail. She criticized the creator in front of Dean (Jensen Ackles), saying that He banished her because He saw her as a threat. Amara claimed that God feared she would craft more beautiful creations than Him. He was reportedly the one responsible for besmirching her name, calling her evil and full of sins. She also said that the Bible and God's religion are nothing more but fodders to his self-image.

Amara told Dean she was different, as she would not ask for prayers and rules. Her kingdom would be bliss. When three angels arrived to stop her plans, she ended up killing them. Suddenly, the heavens turned dark and tempestuous. Amara allowed herself to be swept away. It looks like God has had enough of her killing his creations that they will finally have the much-awaited chat.

Meanwhile, an ominous warning that the time has come for His return is shown during the promo released for episode 10. The clip shows Castiel (Misha Collins) looking down on his chest, where the words "I am coming" are etched. It appears that God will use the angel to warn the Winchesters that He has heard their pleas and that He is coming.

Also in the upcoming episode, viewers will finally learn what will happen to Sam (Jared Padalecki) after getting trapped in Lucifer's (Mark Pellegrino) cage. The Prince of Darkness has been feeding Sam with false visions from God that lured him into Hell. Unfortunately for Sam, his hallucinations messed with his head and the next thing he saw, he and Lucifer were once again sharing the coop. Will Sam get out of Hell alive?

"Supernatural" season 11 will return on Jan. 20, 2016, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
