Are you ready for a new battle beyond the stars? At the recent E3 event, game developer DICE released the trailer of the new "Star Wars Battlefront 3" and it was the first chance everyone got to see a glimpse of what the game will offer.

One of the most interesting things in a "Star Wars" game is the locations featured, wouldn't you agree? In "Star Wars" movies, locations were vital to the aesthetics of the scene. And with high-tech games today, players will definitely watch out for the locations DICE will pick.

According to Air Herald, the potential locations for "Star Wars Battlefront 3" draws inspiration from the movies. The report also said that DICE was seen visiting different locations where the movies were shot including that of "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope," "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" and "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi."

Further, DICE is even going through Lucas archives to look through props and models for the previous films. The speeder bike vehicle and stromtrooper gear are some of the things that DICE will include in the new game.

The trailer didn't give much preview about the gameplay of the third installment of the game franchise. It mainly focused on what will be seen and what's new in "Star Wars Battlefront 3." However, at the end of the trailer, the snow speeders were seen racing to Hoth, then a Rebel trooper was seen escaping from the Imperials.

Do note that the trailer of the game is just referred to as "early in game footage," and it is in no way what you'll get for the final product. In other words, it's just a sneak peek. But for sure, this will build the excitement for everyone who's anxiously awaiting for the release of the third "Star Wars" game.

"Star Wars Battlefront 3" may be released late 2015 or early 2016 as speculated. There's no official announcement yet.
