PS Plus Games for July 2015 free games list: 'Driveclub,' 'Batman Arkham Origins,' 'Guilty Gear Xrd'

Playstation Europe

With July just hours away from waving hello comes the excitement of PS Plus gamers to know which titles will be offered for free in the new month. Unfortunately, subscribers in Europe will not be able to avail of the games on the first Tuesday of July.

Sony is changing its release schedules for the region, with PS Plus games no longer going live on the first Wednesday of the month. In turn, Sony is unable to put a release date for the free games on offer but its arm in Japan gives an idea on what those titles are.

In celebration of the PS Plus fifth anniversary, Sony is giving away two extra games on top of the usual freebie games for July for subscribers in Japan. These titles are "Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate" for the PS Vita and the "Guilty Gear Xrd" for PS4, which will be available starting today until July 7.

Sony Japan recently updated its website, which now includes the 2014 racer "Driveclub" as the third free game players with PS Plus subscription will be able to play for free. This should make fans ecstatic as the game is one of the most wished-for games hoped to grace the PS Plus list.

While it isn't clear if the pair of games will be given away to PS Plus subscribers in North America and in Europe, media outlets wager on their likely arrival in the said regions as well. For June, "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" was announced as a free game offering for PS Plus Japan and it was later released in the U.S. and Europe.

Sony is expected to announce what the PS Plus list for July contains in the next few days. But judging from the first three reveals, this month will be big for the subscribers of the program.
