LG G3 US release date for Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile; Pre-orders begin

LG G3 release date in the US is reported to be on July 17 and the pre-order for the device will begin on the 10th.

According to reliable tipster @evleaks, Verizon will start the pre-order for the South Korean smartphone will commence on July 10, which is a week ahead of the actual release date. Separate rumors claimed that the smartphone will be released on July 25 on US network Sprint.

It was reported earlier that LG G3 will head to the United States by the end of June, but LG Electronics has not announced yet. However, buyers itching to buy the LG G3 can get their hands on the beta version of the handset from T-Mobile. The carrier gives away a free beta version of the handset until June 29. Thus it was speculated that the new LG smartphone will be released by the end of the month.

LG confirmed that LG G3 will be available in 17 different countries. The device is now available in its home court in South Korea since its official announcement last May 28. It was reported that the device would be in stores before the end of the second quarter of 2014. Expect that carriers will offer pocket friendly plans for LG G3.

LG G3 is available in two variants with one model sporting a 16GB internal storage paired with 2GB of RAM and the other with 32GB with 3GB of RAM. This could probably a strategy to attract consumers to buy the more expensive variant with larger storage.

The handset boasts a 5.5. inches screen display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution. The device will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 clocked at 2.3 GHz and 3,000 mAh battery capacity. At the back, the handset will sport a 13 megapixel camera. The smartphone will also run with the 4.4.2 version of Android operating system.
