Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner get together at a funeral

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may have done a good job remaining civil about their breakup for the sake of their three kids, but the estranged couple was once again spotted in the company of each other at a funeral of a mutual friend.

The "Daredevil" stars were seen in Los Angeles last Saturday to pay respects to a mutual friend, Sean Whitesell, according to Mirror.

The couple was spotted walking side by side that day, and it's considered one of the few times they were out together without the kids around.

Affleck and Garner announced their plan for divorce in June 2015 after 10 years of being married. Their break-up has since been making the headlines, especially since the two are often spotted together.

They may not have spent New Year together, according to reports, but their most recent reunion was in December.

The ex-couple spent their Christmas with kids Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel 3, setting their differences aside to be together as a family in Montana.

There were also reports that the two are still living together in their Los Angeles home despite their break-up.

As previously reported, Affleck and Garner are living in the same property but they are not sleeping under the same roof. The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor reportedly sleeps in a "separate section" of the home.

Although they are making sure that the kids have a stable home environment, a source for E! News revealed that it's not easy for Garner, who reportedly feels "fed up and exhausted" with Affleck's decisions.

There were allegations that the couple is starting to annoy each other. Despite that, speculations are rife that the couple have decided not to push through with their divorce.

However, People reported that the couple is still going through with their plan. "This more seems like a transitional period," a source for the news outlet said.
