Since Zayn Malik left One Direction, there have been reports that he will be partnering with Naughty Boy as he starts anew as a solo artist. But there is always the possibility of the former boyband member making beautiful music with his fiancée, Little Mix member Perrie Edwards.

Malik, 22, and Edwards, 21, are engaged to be married, but are they looking to start a new musical partnership as well?

Mirror.co.uk caught up with Edwards at the Summertime Ball last week, and when asked whether there is the possibility that she and Malik will be collaborating on new material, she said, "Not as of yet, but we love doing collaborations with people so we'll have to see what would suit on the album, but yes, it would be great!"

After Malik left One Direction back in March, many fans blamed Edwards for his exit from the famous boy band. Malik's former bandmate, Liam Payne, recently told Capital FM that the 22-year old left because he wanted to spend more time with his family and his fiancée.

The couple has certainly been making more time for each other as the two went on vacation shortly after Malik split from the group. Since April, he and Perrie have also posted more photos on social media showing the two of them together. And recently on Instagram, the 21-year old showed off her fiance's new look.

In the photo, the One Direction alum sports his buzzed hair, dyed lime green so that it almost matches the Beck's beer bottle shown in the picture. Edwards is cuddled up to her fiancée, and it is captioned, "#GreenHairDontCare".

The pair has been engaged since 2013. Last month, Perrie denied rumors of a breakup when she was spotted without her engagement ring. She told Capital London Breakfast Show hosts Dave Perry and Lisa Snowdon that their engagement is still very much on — it just so happened that she had the ring cleaned.

"Oh don't worry, tomorrow we'll probably be not together," she joked. "We'll be separated. I'll be heartbroken, it will be all over."
