Xiaomi updates: Mi Headphones Comfort now on sale in India

The Xiaomi Mi Headphones Comfort is now on sale in India Xiaomi

Xiaomi recently launched a new headphone in India.

Earlier this week, Xiaomi India announced on its official Twitter page that something new is coming for fans. It hinted that it is something that "looks cool, sounds amazing, and feels comfortable."

Fans attempted to guess what item it is. Some think that it is the launch of an upcoming gadget, such as the Redmi 4 or Mi 6. On the other hand, there are those who believe that it is Bluetooth earphones or speakers.

Xiaomi did not let its fans wait for long. Just a day after, the same social media page announced the launch of the Mi Headphones Comfort. It boasts of features that are expected to cater to comfort, style, and good functionality. Particularly, the Xiaomi Mi Headphones Comfort come with a minimalistic design, closed-back headphones, uncompromised comfort, and intuitive ear cup control.

The closed-back design in the Mi Headphones Comfort is expected to seal the sounds coming from the device while being used. On the other hand, the soft and plush ear cups are expected not only to aid in noise isolation, but also in the comfort of the user. Meanwhile, the intuitive ear cup control feature enables ease, as users can answer calls or control the volume or music through the cup installed in the left ear of the device.

The Xiaomi Mi Headphones Comfort comes with a stretchable 1.4 meters matte wiring that has a similar elasticity as that of a rubber. It is also non-toxic, heat resistant, and environmental friendly. With this, users can expect that they are using quality, durable, dirt-resistant, and tangle-resistant headphones.

As for other specifications, the new headphone has a sensitivity of 107 decibels, along with 32ohm speaker impedance and a frequency range of 20 to 40,000 Hertz.

Cost-wise, the Mi Headphones Comfort is priced at 2,999 Indian Rupees or about $47. It has been available for purchase on Xiaomi's website since April 18.
