WWE SummerSlam 2015 news: Sheamus title reign to begin soon?

It is almost a sure thing that any wrestler who wins the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase will practically be a cinch to become WWE Heavyweight champion soon.

With Sheamus being the 2015 WWE MOTB winner, it will only be a matter of time before the Celtic Warrior would get his long awaited push. But word has it that it may come at WWE SummerSlam.

Sheamus is not currently in any major storyline and should he indeed cash in, the question now could be on who.

As everyone knows by now, current champion Seth Rollins is all set to do battle with Brock Lesnar at WWE Battleground for the title. Though it seems that it would be a stroll in the park for Lesnar unless Rollins will be getting aid from the Authority, the champion after the coming pay-per-view is still up in the air.

Another rumor suggests that Lesnar and Roman Reigns could be going at it again at WWE SummerSlam though it was not mentioned if this was going to be for the WWE Heavyweight championship.

A lot of scenarios exist but yet another rumor could suggest that Lesnar vs. Reigns would be forthcoming. This has to do with a reported battle of 'Pedigrees' which calls for Seth Rollins going up against Triple H at SummerSlam.

If that happens, it would likely be Lesnar vs. Reigns II with the possibility of Sheamus cashing in during or after the match when both wrestlers are expected to be ripe for the picking.

Reign is currently in a feud with Reigns, understandably since the former has no place in the title picture. So does this mean the feud ends at WWE Battleground?

There should be a lot of interesting storylines that will pick off from WWE Battleground so keep an eye out for that.

WWE Battleground takes place on July 19, 2015 and whatever transpires after that WWE PPV will likely set the stage for WWE SummerSlam which happens on August 23, 2015.
