WWE 2015 rumors: Dolph Ziggler unafraid to cross the line with John Cena

Dolph Ziggler is slowly emerging as perhaps the one to step up in place of John Cena as the current U.S. champion nears his much publicized time off from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) scene.

Ziggler's push was somehow lost in the past couple of months, but it seems that time is now. And from the looks of it, Ziggler is turning into a heel of sorts which seems to be slowly taking shape.

In what started out as a harmless revelation of still having feelings for Cena's current girl Nikki Bella, such has become a much talked about issue, although a bit bloated.

Could the WWE creative team have come up with a crazy idea of using that segment as perhaps a storyline in Cena's absence? Remember that unlike Cena, Nikki will still be around, so why not create a romantic (yet controversial) segment involving the Show Off and the former WWE Divas champion?

Ziggler seems to be falling into the state that he found himself in a few months back, technically dumped since that celebrated report that Rusev and Lana are tying the knot. The report first came out via TMZ and such left Ziggler all by his lonesome. And apparently, such disturbed the Show Off, as can be seen in the video below.

Regardless, Ziggler points out that WWE fans should be happy with the fact that current stars are evolving. Apparently, this has something to do with the comparison with the Attitude Era fellas, something he believes should not be compared since they are doing a pretty good job.

As far as Cena is concerned, Ziggler is being wooed as the likely successor, although to date, no official match for the United States title has been made.

Of the people backstage, Ziggler does seem fit for the part; although it is slowly showing that the Show Off could be doing so but as a heel wrestler.

That shouldn't be hard to do since Ziggler had indeed played the heel role before.
