WWE rumors 2015: Daniel Bryan End of the road?

There is no sight of Daniel Bryan for now (in the competitive ring) and rumors indicate that he may likely be finished.

To recall, Bryan suffered another setback after a match with Sheamus where a kicked to head forced him to be sent home after a European tour. To this day, Bryan has never appeared on the ring though he has been spotted at shows such as WWE Tough Enough as a judge and on some RAW shows but not to compete.

Is Bryan paying the price for not having his injured neck operated on? Did he return too soon?

It will be recalled that Bryan made his return before WWE SummerSlam and eventually won the WWE Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania 31. Through the journey of his return, Bryan had been in tough fights, notably that punishing ladder match which he miraculously survived.

But summing it all up and taking into consideration that punishment he endured, it was apparent that something had to give sometime and it eventually did.

The WWE continues to be mum on what really ails Bryan, calling it a concussion.

WWE great Brett Hart, through an interview with Sports Illustrated, however believes that his injury is something that could imminently be leaning to an end in his wrestling career.

"Daniel Bryan is finished. He'll never wrestle again. I don't think he knows it yet. I feel terrible about Daniel Bryan. For all intents and purposes, he had the exact same thing happen to him that happened to me after Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head. One day, you learn it's over. Doctors tell you that you can't wrestle and you'll never wrestle again. I lost millions of dollars because of that. I pray that it's not the same for Daniel Bryan."

Hart's input is of course up for debate and such may only be affirmed if and when the WWE and/or Daniel Bryan makes an official statement on the real deal surrounding his current injury.

Should he force the issue and return, he may want to consider the fact that the injury could grow from bad to worse.
