Is AJ Lee retiring from WWE?

AJ Lee has long been rumoured to be leaving the WWE soon and that could happen on the upcoming episode of RAW. While many feel that such is just another nasty rumor, it seems that Lee is leaving the WWE for real this time.

For now, there is no clear explanation on why Lee will finally fulfil a long-standing rumor of her WWE departure. It will be recalled that Lee was rumoured to be out of the WWE scene even before the WWE Royal Rumble.

She had been in hot water for taking frequent vacations which was all the more amplified when she spent a lot of time by her husband, CM Punk (Phil Brooks), who was preparing for his MMA debut.

This was followed up by that celebrated Women's Rights tweet where Lee hit Stephanie McMahon with reference to giving Divas a fair share of exposure during WWE shows.

On whether these issues had anything to do with her retirement (or is it quitting?) is anyone's guess.

There is one rumor that suggests that AJ Lee is pregnant. This angle may be hard to believe especially during her last performance in a six-Diva match which saw her take quite a pounding from Natalya and the Bella Twins. If she was indeed carrying a child, there is doubt on whether she could (or even participate) in such a highly physical match.

Another rumor suggests that Lee could be heading to the UFC. Although it would be hard to imagine how (and why) Lee would shift to a more gruelling and physically punishing umbrella, it could be on a lighter capacity like perhaps CM Punk's manager?

About a week ago, the two had a spat that went crazy over Twitter. It seems that AJ and Phil Brooks were quarrelling about something. AJ unfollowed CM Punk and the latter made some interesting tweets which led many to believe that they may be headed to splitsville.

What could AJ Lee be planning after his supposed retirement from the WWE?
