WWE rumors 2016: Daniel Bryan had seizures through concussions

Retired World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Daniel Bryan made that painful decision to walk away from the one thing he loved doing the most at WWE RAW when he officially announced his retirement.

The fan favorite somehow shocked everyone with the decision, with many believing it was something made out of frustration. Some weeks back, the "Yes Man" revealed that he was given clearance by a third doctor which hinted at a possible return.

However, unless the WWE-sanctioned doctors would approve, such meant nothing. And thankfully, the holdback was worth it after Bryan revealed the severity of his medical issue.

Bryan was being kept in cold storage as the WWE was adamant about concussion cases. Even though Bryan felt it was something he could overcome, he revealed during an interview on ESPN's SportsCenter that he had seizures during concussion.

Bryan claimed that there was no evidence to explain the seizures until the day came that there was a reason behind it all. He shared to have had at least 10 seizures that he's aware of, although it seems that he may have had more. Neurologist Dr. Andrew Russman (via Fox News) says that concussions may have occurred without a person knowing it.

Symptoms may have been present prior to when they share it, although concussions may have occurred without their knowledge.

Aside from the medical angle, Bryan made the hard move just the same. Family was more important and thankfully, he did so perhaps in the nick of time.

While Bryan may no longer be physically involved, it doesn't spell the end of his WWE career if chooses to do so. He can follow the lead of greats like Steve Austin, Edge, and Shawn Michaels and continue to appear in shows that don't require him to indulge in punishing activities.

Either way, Bryan will still be around for the WWE. He has been around to know that he can make an impact even if he is not donning his wrestling trunks to compete.
