WWE rumors 2015: Sheamus wishes to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 32

Sheamus is perhaps the most hated guy in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) right now, actually a testament that he is portraying his character effectively.

Sheamus found himself taking up the position after the untimely injury that forced former WWE heavyweight champion to the sidelines. With Rollins slated to be out of commission for some months, The Authority took in Sheamus to pick up the slack.

Thus far, he has been making a good account of himself as the villain against current WWE heavyweight champion Roman Reigns. But somehow, one has that feeling that there is still something lacking.

Regardless, would his heel role be enough to catapult him to a possible slot at Wrestlemania 32?

Right now, his name hasn't been among the ones mentioned in the grapevine, although he could get a call. But if he had his way, Sheamus would want an epic clash with someone who seems to be a longshot as of now — Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar's name is expectedly one of the more heard ones for Wrestlemania 32. There are two names being linked to him as of report writing — Bray Wyatt and Bill Goldberg. Given those two names, where does Sheamus stand?

The bigger name will undoubtedly be Goldberg, although their tiff at Wrestlemania 20 didn't exactly live up to its billing. A rematch could happen, but that would depend on how negotiations are progressing.

Speaking before Baltimore's 98 Rock Radio, Sheamus says he would love to be given the opportunity to face the "Beast Incarnate" in what should be a bruising affair.

True enough, Sheamus is no stranger to bruising matches. Everyone saw the punishment he got from Reigns at WWE TLC (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs) and Lesnar will likely unleash something more brutal if even a Sheamus vs. Lesnar match materializes.

Right now, all Sheamus can do is hope for the best and pray that the WWE comes up with a stirring storyline to make such a match possible.
