WWE rumors 2015: Dean Ambrose finally wins a WWE title [VIDEO]

Dean Ambrose is finally rewarded for his efforts and the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is likely to benefit from such.

Ambrose is an obvious WWE favorite and has vied for a WWE title time and again. He has been pitted on all the major WWE titles for quite some time now and finally he got his due at WWE TLC (Tables, Ladders and Chairs) last Sunday.

After falling short against his buddy Roman Reigns at WWE Survivor Series, there were no heel turns or anything that happened since then. Rather, Ambrose saw himself in line for the WWE intercontinental title and eventually snagged it at the expense of a brash Kevin Owens.

This time Ambrose would not be denied. He won it fair and square over the Canadian with no controversies involved. The title win was perhaps the only bright spot for WWE TLC, with all other matches hardly showing any plots except perhaps for that incident which saw Roman Reigns go berserk and take out the WWE COO Triple H.

With Ambrose now holding the WWE IC title, it will be interesting if his title run can help out the WWE. The company has been direly looking at alternatives to help boost ratings and being the crowd-favorite that he is, Ambrose could possibly kick up something before the year ends.

It was somehow interesting to see why Owens wasn't given an immediate rematch against the Lunatic Fringe. Regardless, he was around when Ambrose faced Dolph Ziggler on WWE Raw, administering a powerbomb to both competitors which indicates that this feud is far from over.

As the year comes to a close, it looks like two former Shield members will carry the title on their shoulders as fans await what lies ahead in 2016.

Roman Reigns also won the WWE heavyweight title at WWE Raw, defeating Sheamus despite interference coming from Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, and Vince McMahon.
