WWE Raw 2015 news: Seth Rollins likely to be at Slammy Awards

Seth Rollins is still in the sidelines but just the same, the man known as "the Architect" could be making an appearance on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Raw.

His rumored presence could be because Rollins is a possible nominee for the Slammy Awards, something that will not come as a surprise considering his WWE title reign and the transition he has made from a Shield member into a successful individual heel wrestler.

Other WWE stars rumored to be present include Brock Lesnar and John Cena.

After winning the 2014 Money in the Bank briefcase, it was destined from that point that Rollins would be lined up as the next WWE champion. And such did happen earlier this year when he cashed in at the expense of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31.

He has played out the role of heel perfectly and would have been champion (until perhaps Survivor Series where he was allegedly set to lose to Reigns), but an unfortunate knee injury forced him into the sidelines that led to him relinquishing the WWE heavyweight title.

With that timeline, everything seems to make sense now on why Rollins was advertised at the Target Center website as one of the stars appearing for WWE Raw.

Despite speculation by Wrestle Zone that the ad could be outdated, the fact that Rollins resides in Iowa makes his appearance "likely".

An award that Rollins could be likely nominated for is the "Superstar of the Year" award, something that is open to any WWE star.

And as enumerated above on the list of accomplishments that he has done, good or bad, there is no question that Rollins deserves to be at least nominated for it.

Rollins is expected to be out for months and is unlikely fit to be around for Wrestlemania 32 in a competitive capacity.
