WWE news 2015: Seth Rollins continues reign as mere 'paper champion'

In the World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) scene, it is apparent that Seth Rollins is living out his character to the hilt as a heel character who has the title around his waist. But as far as inspiring people and teaching them the right way to success, Rollins is certainly not that kind of champion.

Understandably, Rollins has unfortunately been christened as the chosen one to be recognized as WWE champion. But the fact remains that he may never be remembered as one who worked out a sweat to win the title, well at least not yet.

So technically, Rollins is a paper champion. He will have to live with the fact that the only reason why the WWE scripted him to cash in during Wrestlemania 31 was because he was plan B. Remember that at the time, Roman Reigns was supposed to come out with the gold against Brock Lesnar. But seeing that the WWE Universe wasn't ready to accept his former Shield teammate, the WWE decided to insert him into the title picture.

For those watching, Rollins has been succeeding by using the Authority or other means necessary. Talent-wise, he has not garnered the admiration in the same way that John Cena or even Randy Orton did.

Take those cases to the WWE and you will probably see them snicker, considering that their master plan of drawing attention with Rollins at the helm is working. But to what extent?

Never mind that Reigns is being booted out of the picture because he lacks the talent behind the mic. But what makes Rollins different? He isn't that far off and yet he is still there with no one caring. Should the WWE Universe not air their insights on the so-called WWE champion? Isn't he technically in the same level (if not less) than Reigns?

The thing is, the WWE will sooner or later realize that Rollins, who used to be an unknown weakling, has made the main events of WWE pay-per-views simply nothing to look forward to. The WWE is pushing someone who certainly doesn't deserve to be there.

If it is not yet the time of Roman Reigns then maybe some other WWE star like John Cena or even Brock Lesnar could be better. Like it or not, Rollins is not an ideal champion nor is he a crowd-drawer no matter how hard he tries.

The WWE simply needs to realize that if they want a true main event fighter, Rollins is certainly not the guy for the role.
