WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 news: Reigns will cost Dean Ambrose the WWE title

Seth Rollins puts the WWE Heavyweight title on the line this Sunday against Dean Ambrose at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The immediate belief is that while Ambrose does have Rollins' number, the current champion will cling on to the title. The reason for this is apparently because the WWE is still holding on to the Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar angel which many believe will take place at WWE SummerSlam.

So if this is the case, what do fans have to look forward to?

There are rumors afloat right now that current ally Roman Reigns may get involved and eventually cost Ambrose the title. Though it is still unclear how this could happen, it may see a Reigns' distraction or seeing the Samoan involved in the match and perhaps align himself with the Authority.

Of the two, the first one seems more likely and such could develop into its own storyline. Knowing the stature and type of character that Reigns has molded himself into, it seems a bit remote to see Reigns aligning himself with Triple H and the Authority.

With Reigns likely out of the WWE heavyweight storyline for now, it seems that a separate storyline involving him and Ambrose could make more sense. With no actual storyline to work on at the moment, a Reigns vs. Ambrose feud does look sensible.

Of course, these are only rumors and Rollins could lose at WWE SummerSlam. But of the two, it seems to make more sense to see Rollins escape yet once again with the WWE title and use that angle to spark a new storyline between the two Shield members.

Currently, there is no match involving Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber so it could be an appearance which would make it look to most that he is out to assist Ambrose. If so, it will be interesting how his appearance would benefit or hurt Ambrose though many believe it would be the latter. Is a betrayal in the midst or will it be a miscalculated intrusion?

WWE Elimination Chamber will kick off on May 31, 2015 at 8 PM ET and 5PM PT.
