WWE Battleground Rumors 2015: Nikki Bella vs Paige likely to be added to match cards

WWE Battleground is a week away and thus far, only five matches have been officially announced. Though more matchups are expected to be named in the coming days, one likely addition could be the long-standing feud between Nikki Bella and Paige for the WWE Divas title.

To date, these are the only cards which WWE fans can look forward to:

  1. Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE Heavyweight Title match)
  2. Ryback vs. the Mix (WWE Intercontinental Title match)
  3. Prime Time Players vs. The New Day (WWE Tag Team Title match)
  4. John Cena vs. Kevin Owns (United States title match)
  5. Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

With most of the titles on the line, it should not be surprising if the WWE ends up adding Nikki and Paige for the WWE Battleground list of matches.

Though the matchup seems to be forever recurring, it seems that Nikki and Paige are the only ones worthy of headlining the Divas division, though secondary attention is expected for other women linked to either of the lady wrestlers.

For Nikki, there is sister Brie, who has been instrumental in her continuous reign as WWE Divas champion. Together, they have come up with moves to frustrate Paige from winning the belt. But the odds could be evened out with the entry of two NXT divas in the fray -- Sasha Banks and Charlotte.

Could they even the odds? If so, it should be one hellacious bill that could somehow add some flavor in the seemingly recurring match that could really use a new twist.

However, the inclusion of Banks and Charlotte are plain speculation, meaning that it would not be surprising if Paige goes up against Nikki (and Brie?) alone once again.

There is no indication that there will be a title change, as the WWE seems to be relying on Nikki to break the longest reign held by the former and now retired WWE diva, AJ Lee.
