WWE 2015 update: Sting recovering well, according to Seth Rollins

Despite the heel-like persona he portrays each night out in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), heavyweight champion Seth Rollins isn't all that bad outside the ring. And to prove it, it seems that the Architect has been keeping tabs with the condition of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) legend Sting (Steve Borden)

To recall, Sting got the worst of his match with Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions. Sting could barely get up and his legs almost gave up on him. And as everyone feared, he was badly injured that night, something traced to that power bomb laid by Rollins on the turnbuckles.

Until now, there was no word on the condition of the Stinger. But Seth Rollins, through a podcast interview with Sam Roberts revealed that Sting is alright and that he will be making a good recovery.

"Ironically enough, Sting got a 'stinger.' It happens to all of us, but it was just bad timing in his situation. We got through it, and he's a professional."

This should be good news for Sting and WWE fans. Despite already being 56 years old, most are glad that the injury was not as serious or career-threatening as many thought.

Before Rollins gave his update, a report by Dave Meltzer revealed that Borden's injury could be neck-related. But that seems to be negative now, with Rollins providing everyone with the real score behind the Stinger.

So does this mean Sting will be returning to WWE action? The answer to that could depend on how fast he can recover. There is no timetable for now, but the WWE should make a formal announcement soon.

Hopefully, he will be up and about by the time Wrestlemania 32 comes around. With the WWE's falling ratings, a return by Sting will surely be needed.
